That’s why I always try to surround myself with good people that are smarter, nicer and more spiritual than me. Being a big time skeptic (just because I’m a medium, doesn’t mean I’m not the most skeptical son of a bitch in the world!), I was told that the only thing I had to do with my mediumship was prove there is life after death. Sounds pretty easy huh? I don’t have to prove that any particular religion is correct, how your life is judged, etc.
I don’t even really know if I have to prove it. Just keep the idea in the back of your head. Just think that there may really be a heaven and just maybe you can make it! (It’s really a sure thing). But just consider the possibility that you can’t die. I have so many people that come to me for readings and a lot of them bring the skeptical family member or friend with them. They may be agnostic, atheist or simply a hater. At the end of the reading they both have their jaws on the ground and the skeptic is asking what the fuck just happened here? Dazed, confused and little freaked out. Everybody on the other side can watch the DVD of your life and hit the play button on the first day you were born and can even repeat the shit you were talking about in the car driving over for the appointment. It just happens.
Why? Your loved ones on the other side just want to prove to you that they are alive and well, not in hell or purgatory (there is no hell or purgatory! I was disappointed to hear that as well.) And they want you to know life doesn’t end with this physical body. You will continue to learn, day to day, birth to death and even on the other side! You won’t stop learning, so quit putting so much freakin’ pressure on yourself and live a little. Oh yeah, and if you want to feel better about yourself, start helping other people. It’s not all about you.
You’ve heard about your life flashing before your eyes right before you die? Those are called life reviews and everybody has them. You go back and review everything you’ve ever done, everybody you’ve ever known and the relationships you created with ever human you came in contact with and how they effected you or you effected them, in a blink of the eye.
The first time I had a reading with a legit medium that brought through both my grandfathers from the other side; it blew my tiny little brain. A little later I felt great shame for the things they had seen me do from the other side and the way I had treated some people. I’m a big boy now, and I’m aware I am responsible for my actions. By the way, I didn’t know it at the time, but your loved ones or anyone on the other side don’t judge you. That being said, the worst hell I can imagine is thinking back about the things I’ve done and could have undone and people I could have helped and didn’t. I believe in karma and I’m trying to pay it forward so far in advance, that I will be able to forgive myself when that day arrives. I didn’t kill anyone or anything. I just regret not making friends with the people who needed friends, making fun of anybody that was different, the same shit that happens to everybody! Hey maybe I’m growing up.
It really is simple to be a good person. Turns out all you have to do is give up your ego. WTF?
