If you can see or hear Spirit, you are using your psychic abilities. Everybody is born psychic. Some people can see, others can hear, sense or do all. I do not believe in hauntings or Ghosts. I do know that Spirit on the other side can pop in any time they wish. They can be seen in a wispy, smoky black and white image or they can come as an orb. They can manipulate electrical items such as TV’s, radios or alarm clocks, move objects, and show you signs such as coins or feathers, etc. Spirit is not haunting you; they are trying to get your attention. It is usually someone that you know that has died recently, like a relative or good friend. It’s just there way of saying, “Made it to the other side!” or Spirit can come back on birthdays and anniversaries to just say, “I love you.”
When you get a visit and it’s freaking you out, just speak to them and say thanks for coming by, but could you please leave, you’re scaring the children or the pets. It’s a universal law that they have to leave, even if it’s your mom. When Spirit does something unusual, such as blinking the lights twice, I consider it an “I love you!” from them and say thanks.
There is such a thing as negative energy. You have felt it when you’ve walked in a room where two people have been arguing or fighting. Everything you touch and everyplace you go, you leave an energy footprint. That’s why some mediums like me can read the energy on people’s belongings, even if they have crossed over. It’s called psychometry. If someone is murdered in a room, that negative energy will remain and sensitive people (using the psychic skills they were born with) will feel it. Everybody crosses over to the other side when they die. Everybody goes to heaven; there is no purgatory or hell. Yes even the bad people. I wish it wasn’t so. You’re Guardian Angels and Spirit Guides would let nothing happen to you.
That being said, there are things you can do to erase negative energy, such as using sage, incense or candles to clear a room. Also, I don’t have two mirrors facing each other in the house, because it can become a vortex for any spirit passing by. I just want my relatives and loved ones dropping in.
There is a multi-billion dollar movie industry that loves to scare the hell out of people. Some people just need the adrenalin rush. I don’t need it. That’s why I don’t ride the double loop roller coaster at Six Flags. If you want to be scared that’s your choice. But I can assure you, that nobody on the other side wants to haunt you. They have a lot better things to do.
