A Foot in Both Worlds…
Days before my father crossed over, I was in his ICU room waiting to meet my brother and mother. My father didn’t recognize me from the nursing staff. I sat on the side of his bed and when everybody but I cleared out, He sat up in bed and looked through the glass hallway doors and pointed at someone. I looked and didn’t see anybody. He had a hard time speaking but he was moving his lips. A big smile came over his face as he was talking to someone. I thought he was hallucinating at the time.
I didn’t know he wasn’t on any pain meds. He reached out to take the invisible person’s hand. I can only see spirit about half of the time so I’m trying to zone in and figure out who this is. He takes the persons hand and kisses it, which in reality, I see him kiss his own hand. He lays back in bed with a larger than life smile on his face. It’s then I recognize the shape of the person as his mother. He lays back and shuts his eyes. I realize he has a foot in both worlds and can see the living and those on the other side. As I left that day, I told him that I loved him and he mustered the strength to say Love you! I knew he was in good hands at the hospital and in spirit.
This isn’t the first time I’ve heard and been shown such occurrences. Just know if your loved one doesn’t respond to you on their death bed, they hear everything, their subconscious hears everything and their soul body hears everything. Often when they come through for a reading they will recite everything you told them word for word, even though they were unconscious.
It’s very hard for me to understand, but I know everyone dies at the right time. There are no coincidences or chance. Everyone has a birth date and a death date, and between those days until the last seconds of life you are always learning or teaching. Make those on the other side proud of your every action. I thank my dad for the lesson in dying.
Thank you Steve. Heals my heart.
