Even Aggies Go To Heaven…

This weekend I was giving readings at the Dallas Psychic Fair. If you have never gone to one, I highly recommend it. For ten bucks you get a 15 minute reading. The spirits are flying fast and furious as I try to relay everything they are saying. There is not a lot of time to hear the story behind the story or validations. I hear it, tell it like it is and hope that you can make sense of it. Sometimes the people I read will e-mail back to me that they were able to validate everything and who it was tied to and a story to go with it.

I was reading a cute young lady and her uncle made his presence known. I started reeling off everything he was saying. He said he was her uncle and gave his name. He told me her father’s name and he showed me the place he had taken her and her friends in his big Suburban truck. He told me how they hit a skunk in the truck and what he’d been hunting. He also said he approved of the boy she was dating and went on to describe what he was like and what he looked like. He mentioned one of her Southern Methodist University friends and then went on to show me the outside and inside of his house. I described what he was wearing and what he looked like as well as the inside of his house with his hunting trophies. He was sitting in a comfortable leather chair drinking an ice cold glass of beer and watching football on television.

He gave me a close up view of the television and I saw football players playing for Texas A&M University, scoring a touchdown as the uncle gave me the thumbs up “gig’em Aggies” sign. I blurted out, “Oh my God! He’s an Aggie!” I opened my eyes and my young client was smiling from ear to ear. I apologized, as I didn’t mean it to sound like I was surprised an Aggie was in Heaven! I told her that my brother went to the University of Texas, my sister from Texas A&M, my wife from Texas Tech University and I graduated from the University of Oklahoma, so I was naturally not a fan of A&M, although many of my friends are. The uncle got a big kick in showing me the touchdown as well as my client. I sure as hell hope that A&M takes it easy on Oklahoma this year and that this reading isn’t an omen.
