Months after we went to the drive through animal park, my five year old granddaughter noticed one of the wild game pellets under the seat that we fed to the animals. That started another conversation with the eight year old about how much fun we had and their favorite animals. What great memories. It was a blast!
In my medicine bag I keep many reminders of some of the biggest events in my life. It may be a feather, a seed or a small rock I found at Sedona. Each object gives me power and is a strong medicine. I also have mementos and belongings of my loved ones on the other side. A ring, pocket watch, shot glass, etc. to remind me they are always near and watching everything I do.
Mementos are good. They let you remember the good old days and inspire you to experience more good times with the people you love!
