My Meeting with UT’s Darrell Royal…

A few years ago I had the privilege to meet legendary University of Texas football coach Darrell Royal. I told him that I admired his philosophy and the great impact he made on of the UT students and athletes. He asked me if I graduated from UT and I said, “I’m sorry, I graduated from the University of Oklahoma.” (UT’s arch rival). Coach Royal said, “That’s ok son, so did I.”
