I’m reading for a young college age girl towards the end of the reading she’ll suddenly ask, what does her mom (in spirit) think of her boyfriend? I don’t even ask anymore spirit anymore. The fact that mom hasn’t brought him up in the reading tells me volumes. I’ll say, timeout! What do you think of him? I can already tell. Sure he’s a nice guy, has a good job but the bells and whistles don’t go off, he’s not the one! Don’t make him a place holder. He’s not your soulmate.

That being said, the word soulmate is over used. You have 20 to 30 people in your soul group. Any one of them or more can be soulmates. Here’s the deal. More than likely you won’t meet all of your soul group until you are very old, so be patient. Also, some of the people in your soul group you asked to treat you like shit so you could experience it in this lifetime. You can’t learn pain, suffering, grief, broken heart, sadness on the other side. Now some of these jerks are bosses, teachers, boyfriends, partners and husbands. Just because we hate them and may have made a mistake, doesn’t mean they weren’t supposed to be in your life or soul group. Lesson learned, next!

I would say 90% of the people that will fall into the soulmate classification will be in your soul group. You may have found them or not. When I talk about a soulmate, I’m speaking of someone that loves you unconditionally, forgives you, treats you as your equal and would do anything for you! Now, that definition fits grandma, but you don’t want to have sex with her, but she’s in your soul group.

The trick to finding your soulmate is to get yourself out there so you can meet them. Use your intuition, gut feelings, look into their eyes, feel their energy. Sometimes the bells and whistles going off are your hormones. Introduce them to your dog or cat. Pets won’t lie. Look for the knowing smile. You should feel something. Your angels and guides let you look at a picture of your soulmate or soulmates before you came down here. That’s what the love at first sight thing is all about. If the person doesn’t click, remember to catch and release, it’s the kind thing to do!

When you start a business, location is everything! When you want to start a relationship, think location, location, location. Your location. Your soulmate won’t just show up on your couch. Are you going to find your soulmate at work, the bar, the beach, bookstore, church? Do you want to have something in common with your soulmate? What are the top five things that are most important to you? Love to travel? Checkout the travel meetups on line, go attend some travel groups. Love dogs? Go volunteer at some adoption activities or take your dog to a dog park. Books, Movies, clubs? The idea is to go were the fish are. If that’s online, that’s good, make sure they meet your compatibility list. Speak up and go out. If it doesn’t work, be kind and release. Speak up for what you want. Are you in a relationship that isn’t working out? Speak up and release.

This life is too short not to share with good friends, family or your soulmate. You are born with family, but you get to practice making new friends and soulmates until you find the people that belong in your group. Don’t be shy, ask for help through your guides and angels and don’t settle. Everyone deserves to be happy in this life with that special someone at least once this life!
